Dora’s literary essay, “My Tangerine Childhood” has been displayed at the 9/11 Memorial Museum in New York City. When the World Trade Center Towers collapsed under enemy attack on September 11, 2001, Dora’s friend, Amy Weisser, sheltered Dora in her home. Amy Weisser has since become Vice President of Exhibitions at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, dedicated in 2014.
